Dimboola Police Station Commander Sergeant Darren Sadler will be hosting a Community Forum on Monday the 29th of August at the DMSC fitness centre, commencing at 6.30 pm.

The forum is an opportunity for members of the Dimboola Community to voice any concerns, ideas or raise questions pertaining to the policing of the local area. Police will be providing information on current police initiatives as well as strategies underway at state level.

Several speakers will also be present on the night, including Local Area Commander Inspector Rebecca Olsen, Police Service Area Manager Senior Sergeant David Ellis, Crime Prevention Officer Senior Constable Di Davidson and members of the Dimboola Police. Representatives from the CFA and Hindmarsh Shire have also been invited to the event.

Sergeant Sadler said, "This is a really great opportunity for the community to connect with the local police and chat to us about issues that may be relevant to them. As well as being police in the area we are also members of the community and have a genuine interest in working on any areas that can make Dimboola an ever better and safer place to live."

A light supper will be provided. Any enquiries or suggestions for topics to be covered on the night can be forwarded to Sergeant Sadler on 5389 1470.
