Dimboola Memorial Secondary College year 11 student Ezra Barry has organised the town's first community "Clothing Drive' which will run until the 4th of November.

This initiative is designed to give back to our community, support local charities and raise awareness of poverty in our society.

This is a community event being run by Ezra and supported by the Dimboola Memorial Secondary College. The Clothing Drive started on the 4th of October and will run until the 4th of November.

The event was created to tie into the Spring Clean season and to give incentive for people to go through their wardrobes and donate anything that they may not want or need anymore.

Donations can be either second-hand or used clothes, brand new clothing or school uniforms and can be left in donation boxes that have been set up at the secondary College's front office and the Canvas Man in Lloyd street Dimboola.

All clothing donated will go to local charities including our Dimboola Op Shop, Horsham Red Cross and Salvation Army and the Horsham PAWS. These charities have been chosen as they benefit our local community. Any school uniforms donated will be passed onto the corresponding school so that students in need have access to school uniforms.
