Over twenty former Dimboola Memorial High School students from the classes of 1950 and 1951 gathered at the Uniting Church's Wesley Hall for a reunion dinner last Saturday evening.

Sixteen former students from the class of 1950 and five from the class of 1951, along with partners and friends, saw a total of 33 enjoy an evening meal provided by the Allambi staff. Over forty apologies were also received from former students unable to attend.

The tables were decorated with placemats featuring the High School and Secondary College and the serviettes and floral arrangements were in the four school colours from the era of blue, red, green and gold.

Laurie Heinrich commenced the evening with grace, prior to the meal being served.

Noel Milich read the Remembrance Prayer, which was written by John Pietsch for their reunion in 2000 acknowledging members who had died. This prayer has been read at each reunion held since.

Every one sang Happy Birthday and the "51 class cut the celebration cake marking 65 years since they commenced secondary education at the High School.

After singing the school song and taking photos everyone settled down to a great night with plenty of chatter and reminiscing.
