The Dimboola-Blackheath "Bulls" A grade side played a two-day game over the last couple of Saturdays against Homers at the Sunnyside oval in Horsham.

After winning the toss and electing to field last week, the bowlers toiled all day to limit the opposition score to 342 for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 75 overs, with the best of the bowlers being Sam Polack with 3 for 63.

This week the Bulls went into bat but where unable to score enough runs to pass the oppositions large score and where dismissed for a total of 94 in 50.4 overs.

The only batsmen to reach double figures were Hamish Exell 30, Lachie Watts 25, and Sam Polack 15.

Next Saturday the A grade side will commence a two-day fixture against Jung Tigers on the City oval turf in Horsham.

C Grade - Dimboola-Blackheath v. Lubeck-Murtoa

The C grade side played Lubeck Murtoa on the Dimboola turf wicket in a one-day game last Saturday and suffered a loss.

After winning the toss and electing to bat with 9 players, all the batsmen who batted played well and the Bulls finished with a score of 4 for 143 after their allocated 40 overs. The stand out batsmen included Jason Pietsch who retired on 51, Mark Perry 27, Will Barber 18 not out and Brett Tough 18 not out.

The Bulls then went into field and bowled and fielded well considering the limitations in the field setting with only 9 players early in the opposition innings. Towards the end of the innings Dan Polack sub fielded to ease the pressure in the field.
