The Dimboola/Blackheath Bulls A grade side started a two-day game on Saturday against Jung Tigers on the turf at the Horsham City Oval.

After losing the toss and being sent into the field the Bulls bowlers and fieldsmen restricted the opposition batsmen to a score of 9 for 223 after 76 overs. The best of the 9 bowlers used was Lachie Watts with the figures of 3 for 27.

This week in the second day of this game the Bulls will need all batsmen to score runs consistently to overhaul this total to score a win.

The C grade side played Jung Tigers on the Dimboola turf wicket and suffered a loss at the weekend.

After losing the toss and being sent into the field, the 9 bowlers used toiled well and with the fieldsmen backing them up where able to restrict the opposition to a score of 6 for 143 in their allocated 40 overs. The best of the bowlers for the Bulls was Dan Polack with 2 for 24.

The Bulls then went in to bat and where dismissed for a score of 61 in 16.2 overs with Al Griffiths 14 and Ben Miller 18 the only batsmen to reach double figures.

This week the C grade side plays a one-day game against Homers on the Dimboola Turf in the last home game for either senior side before Christmas.
