3.15pm - Parks Victoria crews are now working on blacking out.


Crews responded to a grass and scrub fire north-west of Jeparit soon after midday today.

The fire was in the Lake Hindmarsh Reserve 13kms from Jeparit.

Two CFA crews from Jeparit and one from Detpa responded to the blaze, which burned through approximately 2 hectares.

They were joined by a number of units from Parks Victoria.
