The C Grade played a one day game against a strong Horsham Saints Black side last Saturday.

The C grade team faces the daunting task of taking on the ladder leaders, Homers, in a one day game on the DMSC oval at Dimboola.

Under 16.5

On the weekend, the combined Dimboola and Jung Tigers under 16.5 junior side earned the right to contest the grand final of the Junior Competition after a semi final win over the West Wimmera side.

This was a significant effort after the two teams were evenly poised after the first day at 5 for 54 to the West Wimmera 4 for 34. Dam Polack had dominated the Jung-Blackheath-Dimboola innings contributing 40 of the 54 runs whilst Liam Preston had taken all five wickets for the West Wimmera team, including a rare double hat trick - four wickets in four balls.

On the second day the locals were able to prevent the West Wimmera side from even reaching their first day total, and registered a satisfying win.

The grand final will be played at the Horsham City oval on the Monday of the long weekend, the 13th of March.
