Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Debra Nelson said "although there are some costs associated with this round of school holiday programs, thanks to State Government funding the activities are being offered at heavily subsidised, discounted rates to make them as affordable as possible for everybody."

Bookings are essential for all activities, except the movie screenings at Nhill Memorial Community Centre.

"Payment and registration forms need to be completed and returned before bookings can be confirmed," Cr Nelson explained.

"People can collect registration forms and make payment by going into their local Council Customer Service Centre."

Cr Nelson commented that Council was pleased to be able to offer such a diverse range of events and activities.

"The school holiday program is scheduled after extensive consultation with young people and their families during school terms. We are very pleased with the ongoing growth in numbers participating and the input from the community regarding this program."

Cr Nelson concluded that Council was very much looking forward to putting these events and activities on for the Hindmarsh Shire community.
