Former VCAL students inspire next generation
On Friday 2nd June, four past VCAL students visited the current Dimboola Memorial Secondary College year 11 and 12 VCAL group.

Chris Miller, Darcy Dubois, Ashlee Baker and Katelynn Clark have gone on to excel in their respective industries.

Since leaving DMSC they have completed apprenticeships, purchased their own homes, travelled around Australia, purchased their own business and currently lead employees at their workplaces.

They spoke to the students about their challenges while at DMSC, and the pathways they have taken since leaving school.

The four past students gave current students advice about preparing for the workforce and trade school.

In September 2017, it will be 100 years since the sons of Edwin and Polly were killed in the First World War, only 4 days apart.

To commemorate this event, on Sunday 24th of September 2017, a service will be held at the Dimboola Cemetery.
