The Nhill Golf Club will be hosting their 97th annual tournament this weekend which will see five full days of golf played over the Queen's Birthday long weekend, commencing with Ladies Day on Thursday and concluding with Men's Day on Sunday.

Considerable work has been done by Course Superintendent Shane Grover, with the help of Rex Bunge and many other volunteers to present the course in top condition for the tournament.

The greens are a treat to putt on and Club President Les Newton encourages visitors from Wimmera golf clubs to participate in the tournament.

Around 500 entries are expected over the five days from across the Wimmera, and a large contingent will also be coming from Melbourne on their annual pilgrimage to enjoy playing golf on this course.
