Applications for the 2018 Leadership Wimmera Program are now open, and people with an interest in personal and professional development are encouraged to apply for either Regional Leadership Skills or Business Leaders Group.

Through 12 contact days over 8 months, individuals will be introduced to regional issues and business and community development training while expanding their current networks and impact.

Employers are also encouraged to consider supporting an employee to apply and participate in this personal and professional development opportunity.

Hillross Horsham has long been a keen supporter of the Leadership Wimmera program and has sponsored ten of their staff members to participate in the program since 2010.

In 2017 Hillross Horsham sponsored Paraplanner Dannae Woolman's participation in the Regional Leadership Skills program.

Dannae says that her leadership journey this year has been unforgettable.
"I have been encouraged to continuously develop my strengths whilst also being challenged to overcome any weaknesses with confidence. I have made friendships with an amazing group of people and have been inspired to be the best person I can be each and every day."
Each year up to 16 participants are accepted into each program with the aim of reflecting the diversity of the communities living and working within the Wimmera.

A number of scholarship places are available to allow individuals to participate in the program at a reduced cost.
