A number of Dimboola golfers are regulars at the Nhill Golf Club and are enjoying success at the course up the highway.

Some Dimboola golfers have joined the Nhill club as "Country members" while the Dimboola club is in recess over summer.

David Colbert from the Nhill Golf Club said that, "for whatever reason, the Dimboola golfers seem to always be on the winners list."

In particular, Bill Hutchinson and Jo Donnelly are enjoying regular success at Nhill.

Bill has won a monthly medal this summer and has reduced his handicap from 25 to 17. David described this as an amazing figure, considering the difficulty of the course - a course which is rated as the most difficult in the Wimmera.

Jo Donnelly is also reducing her handicap on a weekly basis. She recently scored a handicap breaking 101-34-67. The previous week she scored a great 40 points.

David said of Jo's efforts: "Congratulations and keep up the great golf."
