The Dimboola Ski Club have donated $2,327.50 to W.A.C.K., Wimmera Against Cancer in Kids, from monies raised at the Peter Taylor Memorial Weekend Barefoot Tournament which was held on the Wimmera River, Dimboola, in conjunction with Barefoot SA and the Victorian Barefoot Club on October 7 and 8.

Peter Taylor of Ballarat was a long time member and supporter of Dimboola Ski Club as well as a State and National representative in his beloved Barefoot Waterskiing. Peter succumbed to Cancer in May of this year.

The Tournament saw Australia's best Barefooters both past and present compete in a spectacular Night Jump event in Peters honour.

Dimboola Ski Club Vice President Lachlan Schultz is pictured above presenting W.A.C.K. Trustee Brendan McKinnon with the cheque.

"The Tournament was a great success for our Club, the town of Dimboola, the sport of Barefoot Waterskiing and for W.A.C.K. We have also donated $1,000.00 to Ballarat Palliative Care Incorporated who helped care for Peter and support his family," Mr. Schultz said.

Mr. McKinnon commented that W.A.C.K. were very pleased to receive donations to help support the families of children with Cancer.
