Hindmarsh Shire Council has assessed and announced the successful applications for the last round of the Business Assistance Grants and Community Action Grants for the 2017 / 2018 Financial Year.

The Business Assistance and Community Action Grant programs were established in 2016 and 2013 respectively to support local businesses with start-up, business growth and streetscape improvement and to support community groups with funds to provide services, self-help and assistance with community development, social action and connectedness.

Hindmarsh Shire Council, Mayor Cr Ron Ismay said "As can be seen in the following, it is always great to see a range of applications from local businesses and many of our community groups located throughout the Shire".

We are excited to be able to support so many great projects and initiatives to improve both businesses and community based organisations within our communities. We would like to encourage local businesses and community groups to contact us early in the new 2018 / 2019 Financial Year to discuss any possible projects or initiatives that may be eligible for a Business Assistance or Community Action Grant".
