On a beautiful, crisp Tuesday morning fifteen croquet players came out for a friendly game.

Christine Hiscock started the day in top form, winning a singles game 11 hoops to 2, and continued her good form to win the day with 27 hoops from three games, which is one of the best results we have seen.

John Lehmann had a good day to finish in second place with 22 hoops, and four players including John Moar, Malcolm Jones, Carolyn Crowhurst, and our newest member, Bob Gooding, ended the day on 21 hoops each.

With Autumn under way, the club is in the process of greens maintenance work to get us through the winter.
