Northern Grampians Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two men after locating an allegedly stolen telehandler worth $160,000 in Dimboola yesterday.

It is alleged the telehandler was stolen from a property on Blue Ribbon Road in Cannum on 29 June.

Detectives and local Dimboola officers executed a search warrant at an address in Dimboola yesterday, Friday 3 July.

Two men, aged 65 and 42, and a 16-year-old teenager were arrested at the scene.

Detectives subsequently located the telehandler in dense bushland near Old Racecourse Road in Dimboola.

The Dimboola men have been charged with theft and were bailed to appear before Horsham Magistrates’ Court on 7 July.

The teenage male was released pending further enquiries.
