Residents will need to brace for more wild conditions as a Severe Weather Warning has been issued for Thursday 13 December 2018 for heavy rainfall in the Wimmera and parts of Mallee, the Central, South West, Northern Country, North Central, North East, and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts.
Rain areas and thunderstorms are expected to develop across the warning area from the west during Thursday morning, with periods of heavy rainfall likely that may lead to flash flooding. Rainfall totals of 30 to 50mm are expected during the morning and afternoon - with locally higher totals in the 50 to 100mm range possible.

For those still harvesting, the forecast is not too promising for the next few days, with the showers anticipated to linger until the weekend.
