Saturday saw both first and third division sides register good wins when they played against Horsham City.

In first division the Horsham City side which is on top of the ladder was going to be a tough game for Dimboola who needed to win to stay in the top four.

When we knocked off for afternoon tea Dimboola were looking good leading on all four rinks and holding a comfy lead of 33 shots. After the break Dimboola kept the pressure on Horsham and at the end of the game, we were victors by 35 shots 108 to 73 with 3 teams winning and one going down only by 3 shots.

The scores were Geoff Gazelle, Darryl Argall, Daniel Danisch and Josh Cook won 27 to 18, Allan Krahe, Wayne Albrecht, Ron Gaulke and Robert Clark won 29 to 23, Peter O’Loughlin, Greg Cook, Rick Danisch and Judith Albrecht won 34 to 11 and after leading for most of the game the team of Rob Pyers, Cliff Unger, Darryl Both and Merv Roberts went down 18 to 21.
