Local residents will have the opportunity to view the progress of the Murra Warra Windfarm up close on Sunday 24 March with an Open Day will be held on the site.

Visitors are asked to assemble at the Murra Warra Wind Farm Car Park, off the Ailsa Wheat Road, Murra Warra, and they are advised to enter the Ailsa Wheat Road from the Minyip-Dimboola Road.

The first shuttle bus will depart the car park at 10:00 am and will run regularly between the car park and a turbine hard stand throughout the event.

Staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about the Wind Farm.

The last bus will depart the car park to the turbine hard stand at 12:30 pm, and the last departure from the turbine hard stand to the car park will be at 1:00 pm.

The Murra Warra Wind Farm is an active construction site and visitors are requested to respect signage and follow directions of employees for their own safety and the safety of others.

Public facilities, shade and shelter are extremely limited on the site, so visitors are encouraged to come prepared for the weather on the day, and unfortunately the shuttle bus is a standard bus and cannot cater for prams or wheelchairs.
