Anzac Day in the Hindmarsh Shire will be commemorated on Thursday by dawn services at Dimboola, Jeparit and Nhill and morning services in all four towns in the Shire.

Guest speakers will feature at each of the morning services, with Peter Burge, formerly a Naval engineer on the transport ship HMAS Jeparit during the Vietnam War, to address the Jeparit service at 11 am.

A dinner will be held the Hindmarsh Hotel in Jeparit on Thursday evening where fifteen former crew members from the HMAS Jeparit will commemorate 50 since serving on the ship, along with the centenary of the R.S.L. in the town.
