Dimboola Christmas Decorations and Lights
Once again the Dimboola community embraced the festive spirit and decorated their residences and businesses to brighten up the town over the holiday period.

Members of the Dimboola Lions Club drove around town after dark over three evenings in the week before Christmas to observe the displays and decide the winners that were announced at the Lochiel Street Christmas function that was held on Saturday 21st.

In a change from the evening Carols by Candlelight, the Dimboola Town Committee hosted the Carols on Lochiel event from 10 am to midday on the Saturday morning which featured live music and a visit from Santa Clause. Other features will be a sausage sizzle, face painting and raffle draws.

The judges had a very hard time selecting the winners, but eventually came up with the following;

The best Christmas Shop window was judged to be the Dimboola Imaginarium and an encouragement award went to Toughie’s Garage.

The best Christmas house decorations awards went to the displays at -
  • 19 Moulder Street
  • 31 Anderson Street
  • 37 Hindmarsh Street
