In conjunction with Barefoot SA, the Dimboola Ski Club will be again hosting the Peter Taylor Barefoot Waterski Memorial Tournament and Night Jump on the Wimmera River in Dimboola.
This event will include two big days of action, both on and off the water, over Friday 27 and Saturday 28 of March.
Some of the World’s best barefoot water skiers will compete in Slalom, trick and jump events which will culminate in the spectacular Night Jump on Saturday evening.
The Saturday program will be followed by a DJ, charity auction with all proceeds going to Wimmera Against Cancer in Kids, W.A.C.K., and if all goes according to plan, fireworks.
In the leadup to the event, the fundraising efforts for W.A.C.K. include a raffle with a money-can’t-buy prize courtesy of the Keith and Tintinara Show Society which has generously donated two VIP Passes to their Keith Diesel & Dirt Derby.
These unique tickets give access to the event plus the Keith Timber VIP area overlooking the V8 Superboat arena and include nibbles in that area and 12 drink vouchers.
This whole package is valued at approximately $1,000 and cannot be purchased.

South African barefoot skier Andre DeVilliers will be conducting coaching sessions before the event.
