Both Bulls sides played one day games against the Horsham Saints at the weekend and suffered losses.

A Grade

Blackheath/Dimboola 98 (H Exell 37, C Ross 21) def by Horsham Saints 163 (S Polack 2/13, E Braithwaite 2/19, C Ross 2/51)

After losing the toss and being sent into the field at the Dimboola Recreation Reserve the Bulls were able to dismiss Horsham Saints for a score of 163 in the 44th over with Lachie Watts, Chris Ross and Sam Polack all picking up 2 wickets each.

When the Bulls went into bat they were unable to amass the required runs, finishing up all out for 98 in the 40th over, with Hamish Exell 37 and Chris Ross 21 the main run scorers.

C Grade

Blackheath/Dimboola 3/162 (P Wren 51*, M Polycarpou 38*, B Miller 22, C Rees 19) lost to Horsham Saints Red 3/171 (B Miller 1/10, N Campbell 1/21, W Griffiths 1/42)

The C Grade side travelled to Coughlin Park to do battle with the Horsham Saints Red side.

After losing the toss and being sent into bat the side made a defendable score of 3 for 162 in their allocated 40 overs with Charles Rees 19, Peter Wren 51 retired not out, Ben Miller 22, Mark Polycarpou 38 not out and Matt Wilkins 13 all among the runs.

The Bulls then went into the field but were unable to stop the opposition compiling enough runs to win the game with the Saints red finishing on 3 for 170 after 36 overs. The wicket takers were Ben Miller, Will Griffiths and Noah Campbell all with 1 wicket apiece.

This week the A Grade side will travel to Laharum to play their last one day game for the season.

The C grade team will also meet their Laharum counterparts, but on the turf at Dimboola where they will endeavour to repeat their victory against this opponent back in Round 2.
