The official opening of the NAIDOC Week 2024 Art Exhibition featuring Artists Gail Harradine and Tanisha Lovett, at the Old Shire Hall in Dimboola will take place this afternoon.

Following the success of the inaugural NAIDOC Week Art Exhibition in 2023, Hindmarsh Shire Council is hosting another art exhibition that will run for a week from today, Sunday 7 July, until Sunday, 14 July 2024, using the theme Keep the Fire Burning: Blak, Loud and Proud.

The exhibition will feature works from well-known and highly regarded local artists Gail Harradine and Tanisha Lovett whose artworks were also on display at the 2023 art exhibition.

The exhibition will be held in the Old Shire Hall, Lloyd Street Dimboola, from the official opening today for a week until Saturday, 13 July 2024.

Artworks will be available for viewing during normal Dimboola Library opening hours, which are between 9.00 am and 12.00 pm, then 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm on Tuesday to Friday, along with the additional opening hours today from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm and next Saturday from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon.
