- Dimboola Soundshell at the Recreation Reserve
Local band, Masters of the Tuniverse featuring Dimboola’s Chris Hauselberger and former Dimboola resident Tim Williams, will perform from around 7:15 pm, and their set will also include cameo performances from rising Dimboola talent Taylor Hauselberger and Bede Schwarz.
Dimboola Progress Association Inc. will be providing a barbeque dinner that will be available from their recently constructed catering shelter.
Those attending are encouraged to bring their own chairs, picnic rugs, and refreshments to make themselves comfortable on the grassed forecourt of the soundshell.
The redevelopment of the soundshell has included extensions to provide a larger stage area for performers and events, while a new lockable storage area has been constructed at the rear of the stage.
Improvements to the precinct also include an all-abilities car park, ramp access to the stage and a power upgrade that will provide more power outlets as well as stage and external lighting.
Funding for the redevelopment of the Dimboola Soundshell has been made available by the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program, Hindmarsh Shire Council and the Dimboola Progress Association Inc.
