Hindmarsh Shire Council’s Annual Statutory Meeting was held on Wednesday at the Council Chambers in Nhill, where the new-look Council gathered for the first time. The Horsham and Dimboola Rowing Clubs had great results at the 134th Dimboola Regatta on Saturday. The Soundshell at the Recreation Reserve is on track to be reopened later this month after some significant upgrades. Round six of Dimboola District Tennis Association saw some interesting match-ups, with the top four sides Brim and Antwerp going head to head, Rainbow on the edge of the four hosting top side Warrack, and the bottom two sides, Jeparit and Arkona, both looking for their first win of the season, up against each other in Jeparit. The 15-year-old was last seen in the Warracknabeal area on Sunday 10 November. The Hindmarsh Shire Council will feature five new faces after the announcement of the results of the local council elections. It is a third of the way into the Dimboola and District Tennis Association season, and Warrack is on top, one point ahead of Hopetoun, and then there are only five points separating the next four teams on the ladder.
