The third round of the Horsham Cricket Association senior season was played in ideal conditions on Saturday, and the local teams enjoyed some success. After four rounds of the Dimboola and District Tennis season, the top three teams are only separated by one point on the ladder, but even at this early point in a fourteen-round season, the lower teams are starting to fall off the pace. Outdoor pools in Dimboola, Jeparit, Rainbow, and Nhill are set to open next month for the 2024/2025 season. This year’s Victorian fire season is set to officially begin with fire restrictions commencing in parts of the state next week. Voting closes this week for Victorian local council elections. Voters who have not yet voted are urged to do so before it’s too late. Round three of the Dimboola and District Tennis Association kicked off on Friday night, October 18.
